I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! We have just finished up another great holiday season and most of us have made our new years resolutions to get in shape.  What better way to get in shape than to train for golf.

During the Winter months the days are shorter and the cold weather often leaves us little time to be outside and stay active.  It is so important for us to get to the gym and exercise, so why not train our golf muscles for the spring?  Being a Titleist Staff member, I am fortunate enough to have access to the Titleist Performance Institute and there endless information on training for golf.  You can visit their web site at: http://www.mytpi.com/.  On the site they show you all different types of strength training and stretching specifically tailored to golf.I reccomend spending a half hour a day 3 - 4 days per week watching the videos and doing the exercises.  Training a little bit week by week you will gradually increase the strength of your golf muscles, and with the stretches you will increase your flexibility.  The two together will help lower your golf scores not to mention help you hit the ball further than your golfing partners.

By the time the spring rolls around you will be stronger and more flexible to play golf and you will be healthier.

Looking forward to seeing you in the Spring.
